A Few More Resources Right Now in Shelburne
A few more resources to help you right now
Hi Valued Member,
I, your Shelburne Chiropractor, wanted to share a few more resources to help you navigate a prolonged self-quarantine.
- Dr. David Price of Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City shares information in a Mar. 22 Zoom call with family and friends on empowering and protecting families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Price explains that the only way to spread the virus is to touch your hands to your face once infected and only after sustained contact. I was pleased to see that we are following his protocols in our office already. Click here to see the call.
- Yale University is offering a free course online, The Science of Well-Being, that teaches you how to be happier. Professor Laurie Santos taught a class called Psychology and the Good Life first in spring 2018 in response to concerning levels of student depression, anxiety, and stress. It became the most popular class in Yale's history and garnered national and international media attention. To share the class' contents with a wider audience, Santos created a Coursera course. You can audit it entirely for free or opt for a $49 certificate of completion.
- Audible just made hundreds of titles completely free to help during coronavirus crisis. Click here to learn more. Or go straight to reading here!
I hope this helps during these times. If you are interested in learning about different things during this time, please reply to this email and we will work our best to create content around your requests.
In health from the inside out,
Dr. Heather Rice
